By merging the likeness of an ancient ruler with the portrait of a contemporary African man, the composition presents a single face spanning thousands of years. The work reflects the powerful connection between past and present, symbolizing the idea that ancestry is not distant or forgotten. It lives within identity, culture, dignity, and self-recognition.
